Dr Richard was trained as a virologist and molecular biologist before specializing in emerging viral diseases. Her work mainly focused on flaviruses during her post-doctoral training at the Scripps Research Institute, Jupiter, FL, USA. She joined ERINHA as a Scientific Project Manager in February 2019 and became ERINHA Director of Operations in February 2021.
